Annie Lennox's Christmas Album

On November 16th Annie Lennox will release her first Christmas album, something she has wanted to do for more than a decade. Its cheeky title and campy cover image speak to her sense of irony and her refusal to comply with the image of the standard Christmas compilation: no white fur or covers of Jingle Bell Rock here. A Christmas Cornucopia - the album's title - will be fronted by an image of Annie in the style of a vintage Christmas card, eyes cast heavenward, stars alight. (I love this woman and the wells of inspiration she draws from.) The album will be released in three formats: standard CD, special digipak with bonus material and in good, old-fashioned vinyl. Annie shot a video for one of the songs with director Joe Dyer, who directed her beloved "No More I Love Yous" video from 1995. Hopefully, this will be included in the special version of the album! Below is the cover, track list and a link to a 'making of' video on YouTube. I cannot wait for this album!
